Step into the heart of flavor at the Chicken Cook-Off Competition hosted inside the Culinary Tents! Local chefs and backyard grill masters will go head-to-head in a sizzling showdown for the titles of Best Fried Chicken, Best Wings, and Best BBQ Chicken. Watch the action up close as our expert judges sample each entry live and deliver their verdicts in real time. The Chicken & Blues Festival is proud to provide a platform for nonprofits, schools, churches, civic groups, and social clubs to share their mission, promote upcoming programs, and engage directly with the community.

As a Community Service Vendor, you’ll receive:

A 10x10 tented space provided by the festival
One table and two chairs for your display (additional tables will cost)
Access to 2 vendor wristbands for your representatives
Your organization listed in the festival vendor directory
The opportunity to connect with over 2,500 attendees
Vendor parking and designated setup instructions

Note: Power is not provided—if electricity is required for your setup, you must bring your own power source (generator or battery-powered equipment).

Ark-La-Tex Chicken & Blues Fest
Presented by CeJay Enterprises of Louisiana, LLC

By purchasing a vending space for the Ark-La-Tex Chicken & Blues Fest, you (“Vendor”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Vendor Categories
Vendors must fall into one of the approved categories:

Food Trucks

Food Court (Caterers, Restaurants)

Retail & Professional Services

Community Service (Nonprofits, Schools, Social Clubs)

All vendors must apply under the correct category and will be reviewed and approved accordingly.

2. Vendor Fee Includes
10x10 tented space (unless otherwise specified)

One table and two chairs

Two vendor wristbands for staff access

Listing in vendor directory and online promo
Note: No additional equipment or furnishings will be provided unless specified in writing.

3. Power/Electricity
Vendors must provide their own power source (e.g., generator). The festival will not provide electricity unless stated otherwise in a separate agreement.

4. Setup & Breakdown
Setup times will be provided at least one week prior to the festival. Vendors must arrive during assigned setup time or risk forfeiting space.

All booths must be fully set up 30 minutes prior to festival start time.

Vendors may not break down early unless given express written permission by event management.

All trash and materials must be removed from the area at breakdown.

5. Licensing & Compliance
All food vendors must comply with Louisiana Department of Health regulations and provide proof of applicable permits.

Vendors must hold necessary business licenses, insurance, and health/safety documentation as required by local law.

6. Sales Tax
Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all applicable state and local sales taxes. The current combined sales tax rate in Shreveport/Caddo Parish is 9.6%.

7. Cancellations & Refunds
Vendor fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizer.

No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.

Refunds for weather-related delays or interruptions will be at the sole discretion of CeJay Enterprises of Louisiana, LLC.

8. Conduct & Liability
Vendors are expected to operate in a professional, respectful manner at all times.

CeJay Enterprises of Louisiana, LLC is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury incurred before, during, or after the event.

Vendors agree to hold harmless and indemnify CeJay Enterprises of Louisiana, LLC, its staff, agents, and partners against any claims arising from their participation in the festival.

9. Space Assignment
Booth locations will be assigned by festival management and are non-negotiable.

Requests will be considered but not guaranteed.

10. Marketing Use
By participating, vendors grant CeJay Enterprises of Louisiana, LLC permission to use their name, logo, photos, and likeness for promotional purposes related to the festival.
