The purpose of Women of Massive Belief is to empower women by fostering a supportive community that encourages personal and professional growth. Through mentorship, education, and advocacy, the event aims to inspire confidence, resilience, and leadership among women. Women of Massive Belief is dedicated to creating a platform where women can share experiences, knowledge, and resources, ultimately empowering them to achieve their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
5:30 P.M. - 6:50 P.M. - EmpowerHer Panel Session
The panel will be moderated by Angela "Angel" Roberson. In addition, the panel will feature Mrs. Jessica Latin, Principal Lynn Gardner, Attorney Eboni Norris, Pastor Yolanda Jackson, Evangelist Betenia Bolden, and many more amazing women from our local community.
7:00 P.M. - WOMB Concert
The concert will be emceed by Angel and Evangelist BB. In addition, the concert will feature female DJs, Comedians, Honorees, and the following gospel artists:
Karen Clark-Sheard is a Grammy Award–winning Gospel singer, musician, songwriter, First Lady, and businesswoman. She is the wife of the Church of God in Christ Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard and she serves as the First Lady of the COGIC denomination. She is the youngest member of the legendary gospel group, the Clark Sisters. She is also the mother of contemporary gospel singer and actress Kierra "Kiki" Sheard. She has released five solo albums, seventeen with the Clark Sisters, and collaborated with her son J. Drew Sheard II and her daughter Kierra Sheard.
Beverly Crawford is a gospel vocalist who is best known for singing with the New Life Singers on Bobby Jones Gospel on Black Entertainment Television (BET) and for having well-known songs such as "Praise Jehovah", "Run to the Water", "He's Done Enough", and most recently "It's About Time For A Miracle."
Kim Lumzy is a singer, songwriter, educator, mother of Peyton Ryan, mentor, & friend. At an early age, her family noticed that she had a great love for music & at the age of 7, she began taking piano lessons. Her passion for music grew & by 12 & throughout most of her life, began playing for churches in her area. Kim attended Grambling State University & majored in Elementary Education & also holds a Master of Education in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. Currently, Kim is a doctoral student at the University of Southern Mississippi in P-12 Leadership. In addition to educating today’s youth, Kim Lumzy has served in areas as Minister of Music in ministries in the North Louisiana area for over 20 years.
